Great California ShakeOut
Ninth-grade students in Chris Vavra’s and Barbara Crosier’s English class at Ramona High School drop, take cover under desks, and hold on during the Great California ShakeOut statewide earthquake drill at 10:18 a.m. on Thursday. Assistant Principal Kathryn Gunderson said RHS TV broadcast instructions the day before the drill so students would be prepared. Two Cal Fire employees came to the school to observe. The drill lasted for about a minute.
