Teen center organizes park cleanup

The community is invited to help weed whack, trim trees, and participate in a general cleanup of the community park at 1710 Montecito Road from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 13. Teens and adult volunteers from Arriba Teen Center are coordinating the cleanup. NJROTC, Kiwanis of Ramona, RHS Interact, and Ramona Rotary are among groups also providing volunteers. Ramona Disposal will donate a large dumpster.

Volunteers should bring work gloves, trimmers, weed whackers, brooms, rakes, etc. Trash bags and water will be provided, and some brooms and rakes will be available.
