Miramar readies for air show

Residents could see arriving aircraft and hear aircraft noise over the coming week, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar base officials said Monday.

The increased activity is expected as preparations are made for the Miramar Air Show, set to get under way Friday, according to Miramar’s public affairs office.

Performers will be practicing for the show and several dozen static aircraft are expected to arrive.
