CalFire tackles brush fire in Valley Center
Cal Fire crews are extinguishing a fire that has spread over about an acre and a half of open terrain off the 10000 block of West Lilac Road, near Paso de Flora in Valley Center, a spokesman for the state agency says.
Firefighters are getting a quick handle on the blaze, which started about 12:20 p.m. and is posing no structural threats, he said.
