He will have to face God for for his actions. But since I believe Joe was just as much an enabler of the crime as Sandusky, the punishment is appropriate. And it does not punish the students or the athletes - it punishes the university. It is meant to be punitive and vengeful in its methodology and there are plenty of times when punishment should be. Sandusky never would have been in the campus showers with a boy in 2001 when McQueary happened by if law enforcement did their job in 1998. The DA, University Police, PA Dept.of Public Welfare, The Second Mile charity and others all knew in 1998 that Sandusky hugged boys in the showers and did nothing to stop him. Who is going to punish them? I agree.
