To even be more ambitious at this next Board meeting, we will be approving the design of our natural gas pipeline to show that we're actually doing something before the election. Never mind that we aren't doing any of the environmental work required before designing the gas line through the Blue Sky Preserve. That's only required if you actually plan on building the pipeline. We don't need to do that. We just need to get through the election to show that we're doing something and then blame the environmental problems when we cancel it next year.

Bob, you can't say that we limit our Board minutes to 15 minutes. In fact, this Tuesday we'll probably have a 20 minute Board Meeting. We'll first approve the items we like to hide from the public on the consent calendar, such as the canceling the illegal contract awarded to Dudek for San Vicente Road and then re-awarding to someone else (expected to be a 1 minute vote). Then in our effort to be "transparent", we'll discuss a new policy regarding how to avoid future conflicts of interest all the while pretending that no one actually knows about the Dudek contract. Maybe in the future we can even cancel the contract awarded to the former GM's family members on the consent calendar.
