Do something! We, Ramonans could be taking the lead, at least be in the game and relevant to the conversation. We all know that fossil fuels are a finite source and extracting and combusting them are terrible for our health and the environment. We should be making the most of every opportunity to expand into alternative energy sources. The more we rely on alternative energy, the less we rely on fossil fuels. Probably to "big oil's" chagrin, but definitely to our betterment. Let's stop squabbling about aesthetics. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=245925192...

Instead of creating solar farms which are both on-site and and not economically feasible except for true desert areas, Ramona's town council should Instead consider allowing homeowners to put up solar panels on their individual houses and sell the electricity back to the local utility I instead of creating these huge solar farms.

In other words, encourage environmental responsibility by making it more profitable to individuals not just large landowners.

Maybe they can make the solar panels in the shape of a cow's derrière to make them more aesthetically pleasing to the citizens of Ramona and to fit in with our "rural character".

Guess it's better to just keep burning fossil fuels. The power plants are in someone else's backyard, so you won't have to deal with the eyesore ( of except maybe the ozone levels ).
Really, trying to make solar and wind sound scary? What could be scarier than our current race to poison the atmosphere and heat up the planet to unlivable levels?

We need to see solar and wind generation as value added, beautification. Right now the blight is in your intellectual capacity and reasoning, not is the clean energy projects you just shut down.
