Sales begin for ‘Under the Lights’ PONY Baseball bags

Ramona PONY Baseball players are raising money for the league by selling “Under the Lights” reusable bags.

Each bag includes discount cards valued at $700 in savings from area businesses. The cost of each bag is $5.

“The program is a win-win as consumers win by saving money, local merchants win by increasing business, Ramona PONY Baseball wins by raising their needed funds to support their organization, and the environment wins by replacing plastic bags with reusable, green bags,” said Ramona resident and WE CARE representative Julie Njaa.

More consumers are making the switch from paper and plastic to reusable bags, said Njaa, encouraging Ramonans to take the bags to the grocery store, workouts, sleepovers, barbecues, “anywhere you need to take a load.”

The bags are durable, washable, lead-free, and AZO free. For more information, visit www.wecarebags.com or e-mail Njaa at Julie.wecarebags@gmail.com.
