VFW honors Eagle Scout
Nathan Creswell of Boy Scout Troop 679 accepts a plaque for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout from Ramona Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Commander John “Pontiac” Hine at a recent VFW ceremony. Creswell’s Eagle project was to plan and oversee the construction of a “Welcome To Ramona” sign for the Ramona Chamber of Commerce. The sign, erected on the south side of Highway 67 just east of the Vietnam War Memorial and the entrance to Schwaesdall winery, shows upcoming community events. Creswell is the son of Susie and Greg Creswell of Ramona. Photo Ken Dower
