Scholarship donation

Kiwanis of Ramona President Bob Hailey presents a check for $200 to Betty Carpenter of the Ramona Woman’s Club at the Kiwanis breakfast meeting on Feb. 18. Kiwanis donated the money in memory of longtime Ramona resident and Woman’s Club member Ellie Whitcomb, who died last month, and it will go into the Ellie Whitcomb Scholarship Fund, said Hailey.     Photo/Tom Taylor
