Fresh off the excitement of winning Grand National Champions in Las Vegas, the girls in the Ramona Rebels Elite Cheer Squad rocked the house at the Aloha Spirit International Championship in the Viejas Arena on Sunday, said Jennifer Kerr, whose daughter is on the Little Rebels Elite squad.

“Ramona Rebels Elite Cheer Squad does it again,” said Kerr, who attended the competition to support the older girls.

Rec Junior Intermediate brought home a first place in Show Cheer and a first in Dance/Hip Hop, finishing the year undefeated. Rec Youth Intermediate brought home a first in Dance/Hip Hop and second in Show Cheer.

Ramona Rebels Elite will have another round of signups on Monday, Feb. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. in front of Big 5 Sporting Goods, 1312 Main St. The upcoming season is from August to March.
