Trails association conducts annual membership drive
Ramona Trails Association is conducting its annual membership drive.
Since its founding in 1984, Ramona Trails Association (RTA) has been actively involved in planning biking, hiking and riding trails. A nonprofit 501(c)3 community service corporation, RTA is staffed entirely of volunteers and financed by membership dues, fundraising events and donations.
Its mission has been to retain access to and maintain existing non-motorized, multi-use trails in Ramona as well as actively encouraging new trail development on public and private lands.
RTA members work with federal, state and local government agencies as well as numerous other volunteer organizations.
“Whether your passion is horseback riding, hiking or bicycling, the Ramona Trails Association enthusiastically dedicates itself to this cause and welcomes new members and benefactors,” said Robin Joy Maxson, RTA director of membership.
Memberships are $25 each year for either a family or individual membership. The $25 membership is tax-deductible.
For membership, send an inquiry to P.O. Box 2136, Ramona, CA 92065, visit RTA’s Facebook page or send an email to ramonatrails@gmail.com.
