ESSENTIAL OILS—The public is invited to a free seminar to learn about the health and wellness benefits of essential oils in the Ramona Library Community Room at 7 p.m. Fast-acting, inexpensive and natural solutions to health concerns will be discussed. COOL JAZZ…HOT CHILI, a fundraiser for the Ramona High School band program, will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in First Congregational Church, 404 Eighth St. at the corner of Eighth and D streets. Tickets are $6 per person and include entertainment from the Royal Blues Jazz Band. Hot chili and cornbread will be served, and a cake walk is planned.

Saturday Feb. 4

4-H FUNDRAISER—Ramona Stars 4-H Club will have a Garage Sale and Bake Sale at Ramona Grange Hall, 215 Seventh St., from 8 to 11 a.m. DVDs, clothing, books, music CDs, household items and more will be for sale. Anyone interested in donating items for the sale may call Bernadette Faust at 760-789-3314 to have the items picked up, or drop them off at the Grange Hall between 5 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Ramona Stars 4-H.

CAR SHOW—Owners of pre-1974 trucks and cars are invited to join the display of vehicles at a free car show in the Albertsons parking lot in the 1400 block of Main Street from 3 to 5 p.m. Tractors, tanks, boats, Peterbilts, motorcycles and other vehicles are also welcome.
