KUSI reporter visits Lutheran school

Leslie Lopez, KUSI television’s morning news weather reporter, visited Ramona Lutheran School recently to explain how weather information is gathered, forecast, and reported.

Lopez visits a school within San Diego County each week. She spent two hours with the Ramona students in grades 1 through 4 educating them in how the weather works, what causes weather changes, and about her background and her job.

Lopez has a vast background in several areas and Ramona Lutheran teachers agree she did an outstanding job in her presentations and explanations. The students were extremely interested and learned a lot from this visit, which was broadcast, in part, live during the morning newscast.
