Family, friends pay tribute to Mac MacWilliams

Family and friends of well-known Ramona resident Nelson Edward “Mac” MacWilliams, who died in a Dec. 20 vehicle accident, attended a celebration of his life on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 28, first at Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary and then at Ramona Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3783. Among those attending were U.S. Congressman Duncan D. Hunter and former District 52 Congressman Duncan Hunter. MacWilliams worked for both as a field representative. He was a former executive director of the Ramona Chamber of Commerce and a Navy veteran.
