Grinch with a cause

TOY DRIVE WITH A TWIST—The third annual Christmas for Foster Kids Toy Drive started with a twist on Saturday at 2674 Main St. This year was a little different as the Grinch arrived in Santa’s place. Danielle Franklin, pictured with the Grinch and a snowman, is surrounded by some of the toys donated on Dec. 10. Pictures with the Grinch and friends were available along with fresh hot chocolate, cookies, brownies and face painting. All donations collected go directly to San Diego County Foster children. decorated their home brightly for the holiday season since 2007. Three years ago the family decided to start a toy drive to raise toys for foster children in the county. The two-day “Come See Grinch & Friends” event continues Saturday, Dec. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Members of San Diego Motorcycle Club are expected to to deliver toys this Saturday.
