Pop Warner’s fundraiser supports local businesses
Ramona Pop Warner teams will be rolling in the “green,” and not just on the field. This year their fundraiser will give the community the opportunity to not only support these youth, but to help the environment and support local businesses.
Ramona Pop Warner used WE CARE Bags and Media’s “Giving Green” program for its organization’s season fundraiser that is on sale now.
WE CARE has manufactured a Ramona Pop Warner Bulldog bag that includes promotional cards from over 20 merchants affixed to the handle of each bag. The promotional cards are like a deck of cards with each card including an offer or discount redeemable at restaurants, for services or for activities.
The 5,000 reusable bags will be delivered to Ramona Pop Warner next week and be ready for distribution. Ramona Pop Warner football and cheerleaders are preselling bags to their friends, family and neighbors for $5 each.
“The program is a win-win as consumers win by saving money, local merchants win by increasing business, Ramona Pop Warner wins by raising their needed funds to support their organization and the environment wins by replacing plastic bags with reusable, green bags,” said WE CARE representative Julie Njaa.
