Ramona Unified School District Board, closed session at 6 p.m., open session at 7 p.m., Wilson Administrative Center Board Room, 729 Ninth St. Among agenda items are report on 21st century learning at James Dukes Elementary, character education presentation, public hearing regarding sufficiency of instructional materials, student enrollment update, public hearing on district’s initial proposal to teachers union, proposed board policy changes, and reports from employee unions, student board members, school board members and superintendent.

Ramona Community Planning Group Flood Workshop, 7 p.m., Ramona Community Center, 434 Aqua Lane. Presentation by county staff and consultants on Flood Control Master Plan for Ramona to include Top 10 project list and rationale and status of projects; presentation by public of neighborhood flooding issues to be considered for inclusion in future Top 10 list. A future meeting will be scheduled to consider projects further and to prioritize them.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

Ramona Municipal Water District Board, 4:30 p.m., Ramona Community Center, 434 Aqua Lane.

Ramona CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), 7 p.m., Ramona Library, 1275 Main St.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Committee for A Better Ramona, 6 p.m., Ramona Town Hall, 729 Main St.

Thursday, Oct. 27

Ramona Design Review Board, 7:30 p.m., Ramona Commnity Center, 434 Aqua Lane.
