Chamber ribbon cuttings
Sheri Brown, owner of Ramona Florist and Gifts, kicks up her heels at the Ramona Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting welcoming her as a chamber member. Next to Brown is her husband, Steve. Ramona Florist and Gifts is at 1668 Main St., Suite 6, in the Stater Bros. center. The ribbon cutting coincided with Brown’s Open House and fundraiser benefiting the After-School All-Stars San Diego on Saturday. Free hot dogs, chips and other treats were served.
Frankie Berkley Newberg, new owner of Sun Valley Florist, gets ready to cut the ribbon as a new Ramona Chamber of Commerce member on Friday, Sept. 23. Sun Valley Florist at 758 Main St. had a grand opening celebration the next day.
