Free Tdap vaccinations on Wednesday

San Diego County Health & Human Services and Maxim Healthcare will host a free Tdap vaccination clinic for 7th- through 12th-graders at Ramona Library, 1275 Main St., from 2 to 6 p.m.

Families are encouraged to first contact their primary physician and insurance providers.

A new state law requires students entering grades 7-12 to have this vaccine as a precaution against pertussis (whooping cough).

A parent or guardian must be present to give consent. Bring each student’s immunization record.
