Learn about Girl Scouts

Leaders and Scouts of Cadet Girl Scout Troop No. 8711 will present an evening of Girl Scout Camp Traditions, the second meeting in the “Juliette & Me Series Pathway” program planned by the Sunrise Valley Service Unit, from 6:30 to 8 on Friday in the Ramona Library Community Room, 1275 Main St.

The meeting is open to registered Girl Scout Juliettes (girls not affiliated with a troop), girls on the service unit waiting list, and anyone interested in becoming a Girl Scout.

The Girl Scout year begins on Oct. 1 and this program is a way to preview Girl Scouts to see if the program is right for parent and daughter. Parents are needed to assist with the crafts and games. Cost is $2 per Scout.

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to Danielle Shaw, danigirl_72@sbcglobal.net or 760-535-8055.
