Ramona Country Fair, ‘The Four Best Days of Summer’

Ramona’s 41st Annual Ramona Country Fair started Thursday and continues through Sunday at the

Dubbed “The Best Four Days of Summer,” the fair features carnival rides and games from Christiansen Amusements, live entertainment, the Ramona Idol contest, children’s games courtesy of Ramona Chamber of Commerce on Saturday and Sunday, a variety of food, and vendor booths galore.

Presented by the Ramona chamber, the fair will be open from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, and from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is free, but there is a $5 parking fee for those parking at the site. Proceeds from the parking fee will be split among the nonprofit groups supplying volunteers who are coordinating the parking and directing traffic at the fairgrounds.

Complementing the country fair is the Ramona Junior Fair, which starts Saturday and continues through Aug. 7 at the Ramona Junior Fairgrounds, 431 Aqua Lane.
