The team amassed enough points in the tournament to win the conference, and several Ramona wrestlers earned awards in their individual weight classes. Austin Koch and Leo Duran each won first place trophies.

Other winners included Troy Jordon, Michael Bradshaw and Dallas Dominitz, each earning second place. Brent Krohne, Erik Schmidt and Amado Macias each took home a third place medal, and Sam Ohnysty and Cole Sandhofer each placed fourth in their weight classes.

Team coaches were Steve Koch and Duane Guile, with assistance from Lyn Jordan, Spazzo Illich and Marshall Thrasher.

Coaches and parents congratulated all who participated in the middle school wrestling season.
