Creating habitat gardens is Ramona Garden Club topic on Wednesday

Creating habitat gardens will be the subject of the May 11 meeting of the Ramona Garden Club.

The speaker, Meredith French, is a master gardener and professional photographer with 31 years of experience. She encourages gardeners to rethink the concept of “garden” to include fauna as well as flora, as such gardens are easier to maintain, serve as reflection and rejuvenation for the creator, and provide needed habitat for wildlife.

Members and guests are invited. Ramona Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of each month, excluding July, August and December, at 524 Main St. Meetings begin at noon with a potluck lunch.
