Main Street Parade entries due May 1

Calling all cars, boats, floats, horses, bands, clowns, street machines, drill teams, antique roadsters, heavy equipment, and two-legged critters.

The Ramona Outdoor Community Center invites you to strut your good stuff down Main Street Ramona on May 21.

Entries in the town’s first full-scale Main Street Parade in seven years will be accepted through Saturday, May 1.

“Spaces are filling up really, really fast, and we want to give everybody a last chance to get in the parade,” said Joani ROCC director serving on the parade committee.

The morning parade will go down Main Street from 13th to Fifth and then down Fifth to the rodeo grounds on Aqua Lane.

“It’s going to be fun for everyone,” said Georgeson. “This year’s parade highlights our United We Stand theme by including representation from all of our armed services. We even have our local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts jumping in with us this year.”

To reserve your parade line-up, email your completed form to Georgeson at joanit333@aol.com, or fax it to 760-789-6675.

Parade entry forms are at the Business Barn at 369 Main St. or online at ramonarodeo.com.
