Author to talk about her book

Fallbrook author Laura McNeal will present a book talk and signing on her 2010 teen/adult book “Dark Water” in Ramona Library at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 25.

Nominated for the 2010 National Book Award, the book is fiction that features the relationship between two teens: a migrant day laborer and a local girl before the 2007 fire season.

Ramona Adult Book Club will convene their monthly meeting at this event as well, said Ellie Slade, Ramona librarian.
