Chisholm, Tulving earn Top Scouter awards
Pacific Crest District of Boy Scouts of America’s annual awards dinner, honored adult Scout leaders in the area who have given exceptional leadership to the Scouting program.
Over 60 leaders and family members attended the banquet, held at Ramona United Methodist Church on Friday, May 7.

Chisholm is District Advancement chair, Eagle Project counselor and active at the troop and crew level. Tulving is Scoutmaster of Troop 696 in Borrego Springs and has actively restored Scouting to the Borrego area in the past several years.
Two special awards were presented as well. Charlie Teichert was recognized for 60 years of service to Scouting. He was active as a youth and adult leader in Greenwich, Conn., for over 50 years, and has been an active member in Ramona since moving here in 2003.
Patty Andrews was recognized for her leadership in our annual popcorn fundraising program for the past seven years. She was responsible for district sales in excess of $350,000 over that period, with over $120,000 staying in the district.
