E-Waste Recycling Day is Saturday
Ramona’s Alliance for Music Education will host a free e-Waste Recycling Day in the Ramona High School parking lot, 1401 Hanson Lane, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.
Items that will be accepted include: computers, monitors, TVs, laptops, cell phones, scanners, printers, DVDs, VCRs, FAX machines, loose wire and cable, stereos, cameras, video consoles, small household appliances such as toasters, blenders and microwaves, and about anything else that can be plugged in.
Items that will not be accepted are large appliances such as dishwashers and refrigerators. No light bulbs or batteries will be accepted.
Everything will be shredded and recycled. Nothing will be refurbished or re-sold.
Businesses are welcome to bring electronics for disposal as well.
