The Bulldog golf team picked up two Valley League wins on the road to remain undefeated and in first place in league play. The Dawgs are 5-0 in league matches and are 5-1 on the season.
   The Bulldogs beat Mt. Carmel 207-229 in Valley League action at Double Tree Resort. Glendon Barnum took medalist honors by shooting a one over par 37 on the par 36 front nine.
   Christian Rajcic and Garrett Arnold both turned in a score of 40 as they both outshot the Sundevils’ top golfer, Marc Herrmann. Drew Massey shot 44 and Brandon Barnum turned in a 46. James Andrew shot a non-scoring 47 as every Bulldog golfer  out shot his counterpart.
   Ramona downed San Marcos at Lake San Marcos Country Club 216-228. Josh Haynes took medalist honors by firing a three over par 38 on the par 35 front nine.
Rajcic shot a 41 as he bettered the Knight’s number one golfer by a stroke.  Brandon Barnum shot 44. Drew Massey turned in a 46 and Tyler Harvey shot a 47. Glendon Barnum shot 48 as every Bulldog golfer beat his counterpart in head-to-head action.
   “We have been very consistent,” said coach Jerry Patenaude. “We have great depth and that helps. Every player on the team has the ability to be a medalist on any given day. If somebody has an off day, we have the depth to pick that player up. There is no undue pressure on one or two golfers.”
