Team bounces back to win
Ramona’s girls varsity basketball team pulled a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde act as the players lost to Mt. Carmel and bounced back to beat Oceanside in opening Valley League action in the Dawg House.
“We were a totally different team against Ocean-side than we were against Mt. Carmel,” said Ramona coach Erin O’Connor. “We controlled the pace and tempo of the game and we played the entire game as a team and not as individuals. We still have to figure out a way to come out and play well in the third quarter. We make adjustments at half, but we come out cold in the third quarter. We will work on that.”
