Bulldog baseball kicks off 2010 season at K classic

   Ramona High School’s baseball team is among participating teams for the CIF’s Fifth Annual Baseball “K” Classic scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at Escondido High School.
   The classic will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Division IV up-and-comer Santa Fe Christian battling San Marcos High School.  At 10:45 a.m. Division I San Diego High School will go against Mt. Carmel High School. Division II Ramona High School will take on Division III Castle Park High School  at 1 p.m.  
   Beginning at 3:15 p.m., Division II Steele Canyon High School faces the Broncos of Rancho Bernardo High School. The Matadors of Mount Miguel High School do battle with Division II Oceanside High School at 5:30 p.m.  Finally at 7:45 p.m., always-tough Patrick Henry High School takes on the host Escondido High School.
   Tickets go on sale Feb. 1.  Cost is $6.  The classic is a kickoff to the 2010 baseball season.  For more information, contact the CIFSDS Office at 858-292-8165 or jbrewer@sdcoe.net.
