Homecoming Court to be crowned Friday

   Tomorrow night, Ramona High School’s princes and princesses and Senior King and Queen will be crowned at the 2009 Homecoming Ceremony.  
   Each candidate was carefully chosen, first nominated by their teachers and then voted on by their peers. There are no set criteria, but nominees are seen as campus leaders, are involved in sports or clubs, and are good students.
   Here is this year’s Homecoming Court:
Senior Prince Candidates
   Logan Peterson is involved in Fusion (campus service club) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He plays football and runs track. He will be escorted by his mom, Anne Smith, and sister, Megan Smith. After graduation, he plans on attending a four-year university.
   Andrew Alcaraz has played varsity basketball for three years and has run track for three years. He will be escorted by his parents, Ruben and Patti Alcaraz. After graduation, he plans on attending a four-year university and playing basketball.
   Ryan Morgan plays football and runs track and field. He has set many records in both sports. He will be escorted by his brother, Nathan Morgan, his stepbrother, Kyle Snyder and his stepsister, Kassondra Snyder. After graduation, he plans on going into the movie business.
   Seth Drake plays football and runs track. He will be escorted by his mother and stepfather. After graduation, he plans on attending UCLA.
   Justin Godes is involved in Fusion and plays football. He will be escorted by his brother, Jared Godes, and his dad, Loren Godes.  After graduation, he hopes to play Division 1 football.
 
Senior Princess Candidates
   Emily Brown runs track and field and is an FCA leader, treasurer of dance productions and a member of Fusion. She will be escorted by her mom and dad, Carol and Doug Brown. After graduation, she plans on attending a four-year college to major in engineering.
   Allie Ferguson plays softball and volleyball, is involved in Fusion and is an FCA leader. She will be escorted by her mom, Melissa Ferguson, and her brother, Tommy Ferguson. After graduation, she plans on attending a four-year university and playing softball.
   Shelby Nuth is an officer in Fusion and a part of dance productions. She will be escorted by her mom and dad. After graduation, she plans on attending a four-year university.
   Ashley Shields is involved in Ready to Learn (a campus support group), SuperFans (RHS fan club), and plays varsity tennis. She will be escorted by her parents, Lisa and Mark Shields. After graduation, she plans on attending a four-year university and majoring in business. She has her sights on Northern Arizona University.
   Kayla Lawler plays volleyball and basketball. She will be escorted by her brother, Kenneth Lawler, and her dad, Matthew Lawler. After graduation, she plans on attending a four-year university and hopes to major in accounting.

Junior Prince
   Thomas Cook plays volleyball. He will be escorted by his parents, Tom and Connie Cook. After high school he hopes to continue his education at a four-year university and pursue a career in comedy.
Junior Princess
   Rachelle Mason is involved in track and dance productions. She will be escorted by her sisters, Kelsey Mason and Taylor Mason. After high school, she hopes to attend a four-year university.
Sophomore Prince
   Dylan Blankenbaker is involved in FCA and runs cross country and track. He will be escorted by his parents, Barbara and Damon Blankenbaker. After high school, he plans on attending a 4-year university and running on their cross country or track team.
Sophomore Princess
   Nicole Darrough is involved in ASB and plays volleyball. She will be escorted by her mom, Rose Darrough, and her friend, Kacy Herald. After high school she hopes to stay friends with Kacy and keep on playing volleyball.
Freshman Prince
   Alex Rodgers plays football and will be trying out for basketball this winter. He will be escorted by his mom and dad. After high school he plans on attending UCLA and becoming a doctor.
Freshman Princess
   Hannah Tucker is involved in National Honors Society (NHS). She will be escorted by her parents. After high school, she plans on attending a four-year university.
