Golfers win league match

Ramona High’s golf team won a Valley League match and had one canceled as the Lady Bulldogs beat Orange Glen and had to postpone a match with Del Norte because the Nighthawks’ home course was having its greens punched.
The Lady Dawgs shot a season low score of 256 against Orange Glen.
Sophomore Emily Vandervort shot 48 to earn the medalist honors. Junior Kelsey Perry shot 50. Sophomore Ally Harvey contributed a 52. Kia Turner and Kambria Fitting both shot 53. Kelsie Domnitz fired a 54.
The Ramona team does not have a senior on the roster and is building a strong base for the years to come and competing this season.
RHS hosts Valley Center and travels to Westview this week.
