Earthquake was near Inglewood
The epicenter of the earthquake that occurred about two hours ago was near Inglewood, about 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles, and was a magnitude 4.7, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A 3.1-magnitude aftershock followed. The initial quake was felt in Ramona.
