Tennis drops 2 games

The Bulldog tennis team lost to Valley Center and Westview in Valley League action. The Dawgs are now 3-8 on the season and 1-6 in league play.
Ramona’s doubles teams picked up all seven team points in the Bulldog’s 11-7 loss to Valley Center.
Josh Leiber and John Randol posted scores of 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1. Cameron Ruland and John Shupe also picked up three sets with scores of 6-2, 6-4 and 6-1. Derrick Streeter and Tyler McDonald picked up the final team point by going 7-5, 2-6 and 0-6.
In singles action, Tyler Davidson went 4-6, 4-6 and 4-6. Garrett Flynn went 0-6, 3-6 and 2-6. Alejandro Cervantes went 1-6, 1-6 and 0-6.  
The Dawgs lost to Westview 15-3. In singles action, Flynn went 0-6, 0-6 and 0-6. Cervantes posted scores of 3-6, 0-6 and 3-6. McDonald picked up a team point by going 0-6, 0-6 and 6-0.
In doubles action, Leiber and Randol won one set posting scores of 3-6, 6-2 and 0-6. Ruland and Shupe went 1-6, 1-6 and 4-6. Streeter and Davidson picked up a point by going 7-5, 1-6 and 0-6.
