Girls Intra U12 maintains first place

Ramona’s first place Girls Intra Under 12 Soccer Team beat second place Scripps United 3-0 on Saturday.
The Ramona girls dominated the game. Teresa Italiano scored early with Zirze Cordova and Alexis Dinero adding two more goals.
Midfielders Ceci Estrada, Kathrin Hoertig and Anais Scott, played strong, and defense planers Amy Coffman, Shelby Sherman and Naomi Ramirez once again shut the other team out, giving up no goals all game.
The Ramona team is now 9 wins and 1 loss with 3 games to go in the season.
We had sick and injured girls, but everyone came up big today,” said Coach Robert Stehlik. “We are proud of them.”
