Harvey, Morton earn lead golf scores

Ramona High School girls golf team lost a Valley League match to Valley Center at Woods Valley Golf Club 252-280. The Lady Dawgs are now 2-9 overall and are 2-7 in league play.
Freshman Ally Harvey and Senior Brittany Morton led the Lady Dawgs with scores of 52 on the par 36 front nine.
Cami Sitting and Kellsie Domnitz also had scores in the fifties. Cami shot a 55 and Domnitz shot 58. Taylor Doelman and Kia Turner both shot 63.   
Coach John Rathbun continues to be impressed and encouraged with the progress of the team. The players are getting much more consistant and their scores continue to improve.
The Lady Bulldogs conclude their season this week with matches against Westview and Oceanside. From there it will be on to the Valley League meet, the conference meet and the CIF team and individual tournaments.
